KASHA M


[ DISCIPLINE ]  BRAND DESIGN, ART DIRECTION, VIDEO EDITING 

[ BACKGROUND & CHALLENGE ]
KASHA M was founded by a talented female designer with a great idea and vision: to showcase women's independence and true self beauty through her designs. This project was inspired by the KASHA M brand story. The brand's story is based on Dante's Divine Comedy, where "KHASHA" stands for the Emperor's cheetah, which represents female strength, and "M" stands for MAFDET, the early Egyptian cat god. The goal of this project was to create a brand identity and photography style for the independent designer brand KASHA M. After speaking with the client, I decided to use visual language and simple graphic design elements to help the brand communicate an image of an independent, confident woman with her own style. And, while designing to highlight the brand's charm and character, I also wanted to meet the challenges of rapidly evolving social media.

[ OUTCOME ]
During the design process, I ended up using a simple sans serif font combined with a carefully designed, angular sans serif font to create a sense of storytelling for the brand. The brand color was a dark red, representing maturity and independence, and it echoed the well-designed font. The client was also given a social media-friendly poster design that allowed users to easily change the image, color, and placement to meet their daily social media posting needs. With the official opening of KASHA M in 2022 and the brand's desire to expand its e-commerce presence in 2023, I also provided a web design solution. As a result, the KASHA M fashion brand represents boldness, independence, and self-expression.
